Now in Sk8tibles you can record your screen and yourself at the same time. This is great for things like creating live pack opening videos, showing off your stuff, and making app tutorials.
It's simple to use.
Tap the record button on the top left of any of the main five screens (next to the notification bell).
Choose whether you want to record with the camera on or not.
Your device will ask for permission to record the screen, camera, and microphone.
When the recording starts, the record button turns red.
If you are also recording video from the camera, the camera view will appear in the bottom right of the screen.
Tap to flip to the back camera.
Tap and hold to change the size of the view.
Swipe up/down/left/right to reposition the camera view.
Tap the record button again to stop recording (only available on the main five screens).
The recorded video will pop up with options to trim, save, and share.
When you tap save, it will save to your camera roll. Be sure to tap just once and wait for the view to disappear or else it will save two copies.
That’s it!
Screen recording is currently available in Sk8tibles iOS app, version 0.5.
This is a new and experimental feature. If you have any problems or suggestions, please let us know.
